Great Charger
I was after something that could plug into 12 & 240 volts for recharging, this fitted the bill and then some, Great device and great service from the guys at Liteshop
The Digicharger D4 is a universal, automatic smart-charger compatible with most types of rechargeable batteries. The D4 is able to automatically identify Li-ion, Ni-MH and Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries and apply an appropriate charging mode. The LCD screen clearly displays charging status and other details. Latest Australian version with 240V wall charger and 12V car charger included.
The Nitecore D4 is a universal smart charger compatible with almost all cylindrical rechargeable batteries, thus eliminating the need to own several chargers. The D4 automatically detects Li-ion, Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries, and through manual selection is also capable of charging LiFePO4 batteries. Intelligent charging circuitry selects the optimal charging mode (CC, CV and dV/dt) for a given battery and each of the D4’s four microcomputer-controlled charging slots then monitors and charges the battery independently. Furthermore, an integrated digital LCD screen clearly displays charging progress, voltage, current and time while an intelligent automatic power-off function terminates current when charging is complete. The Nitecore D4: The world’s most advanced fully-automatic digital charger. It’s as simple as insert, detect and charge.

Good quality charger to look after and get the most from your batteries Pros: - Takes a good range of sizes and chemistries. It’s a single charger for all of your batteries - Good information in display - Manually selectable low mode for small batteries - 240V or 12V (car & 240V leads included) - Charges slowly enough and uses multiple charge rates so as to give your batteries a full charge without damage (I’ve used fast chargers where batteries get hot and only end up with ½ the charge they’re capable of carrying) Cons: - None really. I’ve been using fast chargers so am used to batteries being charged faster, but I know that fast charging is bad for batteries and doesn’t give them a full charge, so I’m prepared to wait an extra hour or so – it hasn’t been a problem yet!)
This is a great charger if you want one that can handle almost anything you throw at it: LiCo, IMR, small cells, NiMH/Eneloops, and even LiFePO4! Not many chargers can handle the IFR/LiFePo4 ... one or two of the Xtar charger can, but those in turn don't do the NiMh cell. Easy to use, just hold the mode button to switch to small cell and IFR modes. Service from liteshop was good, posted same day and arrived in Melbourne three days later (can't help the Post being slow, they gotta give ol' Ahmed his bonus pay somehow)
