One of the best things you can do for your torch is cleaning and lubricating threads and O-rings from time to time. The Silicone grease from Xtar is designed for torches.

I recently purchased a MS06 from this website and it arrived promptly and in good order and used this grease to replace the horrible, dry stock grease that came on the threads of the flashlight originally. It has made the threads much smoother even though the anodised coating on the threads is partly stripped off. Good product if a little pricy for the quantity.
