Huge fan of Klarus torches for many year. This torch has same quality build and components that you expect from Klarus. I still have in service original XT11, XT12 and XT12GT (my best torch). Disappointed with XT12GT compact - not as bright and auto drops down from turbo way too quickly, constantly having to click selector button to bump it back up too turbo. The general in close field of light seems to be narrower and again not very bright. Torch is not faulty as whole team upgraded and all reporting same disappointment. Still a loyal Klarus user, just disappointed with this model.

Great torch at reasonable price

We live on an acreage, and sometimes at night you hear a noise that makes you want to go check that your livestock and property are okay. The Klarus' has been a great torch, easy to use, long lasting battery life and it covers a great distance - saves us having to walk to the other end of the property at night to check on things. Very happy with our purchase, and Lite Shop got our purchases to us very quickly.

Remarkable Torch-So bright-A real keeper!

Klarus really has come through to deliver a remarkable torch here and have listened to their customers,increasing the lumen mode levels and runtimes.This torch is a big step up from the great XT12 GT.
I went to the park nearby my home last night and when I turned on this torch, the turbo emitted a very bright, brilliant, far reaching throw with very usable spill.The hotspot on this light is incredible and so well balanced.
I noticed that even on the lowest mode(10 lumens),that the reach of the beam went out to 50? meters with a little spill(WOW!!).The runtimes are incredibly good too.All in all,I can honestly say that this is the best torch that I have ever had.I love the easy and practical UI as well.Amazing thrower,balanced and a very well made flashlight. Get yourself one,you will be very happy with this torch.
