The Fenix LR50R V2 is an awesome handheld Search Light!
The spotlight has a decent reach at around 800+ metres with a wide hot spot. The floodlight mode creates a wall of light. It is so much fun to use and carry in one hand. I really like the rotary dial. It is simple to use. And the should strap helps take some strain off when using the torch for hours. My only gripe about the OLED display is that it is a bit bright. I find myself rotating the torch to the side so that the display isn't lighting up my face. The red and UV lights are pretty powerful! Usually these types of auxiliary are bolted on as an afterthought but Fenix has done a good job. The battery pack has two USB-C ports for fast charging and for the powerbank feature. The fast charging feature is handy if you only have one battery pack. I'm not sure about the powerbank feature (might be useful in a pinch if your phone is about to go flat) because people usually bring a dedicated powerbank with them if they need it. I did a bunch of runtime tests myself and I found that the light output is well regulated. The runtime results were pretty close to what Fenix claim. It will step down from 18,000 lumens relatively quickly but then you get about 3 hours at 4500 lumens. The LR50R V2 is a solid recommendation if you are looking for a search light that you can carry with one hand. It packs a punch and the build quality is excellent.
