The Nitecore HA19 is a lightweight AA headlamp built around four NiteLab Dual-core MCT UHE LEDs, offering three selectable colour temperatures: 3000K warm white (CRI 98), 4500K neutral white (CRI 85) and 6500K cool white (CRI 73). Maximum output reaches 600 lumens through a unibody multi-faceted optical lens, with a peak beam intensity of 4194 cd and a maxiumum beam distance of 130 m. Alongside the white light, two RGB LEDs provide red light for preserving night vision and stargazing, green light for wildlife observation, hunting and map reading, and blue light for night fishing. The white light steps through four brightness levels from 6 to 600 lumens, and the 6 lumen ultralow mode runs for up to 90 hours, complemented by SOS, beacon and slow flashing special modes. Power comes from two included alkaline AA batteries, and the headlamp also accepts 2 x Nitecore NH2400 rechargeable batteries (not included), which charge in place through the built-in USB-C port. The housing is made from impact and cold-resistant PC plastic, rated IP68 with 1m impact resistance.
Features
Three Colour Temperatures: Four NiteLab Dual-core MCT UHE LEDs provide 3000K warm white (CRI 98), 4500K neutral white (CRI 85) and 6500K cool white (CRI 73) light.
RGB Auxiliary Lights: Two RGB LEDs provide red, green and blue light for preserving night vision, wildlife observation and night fishing.
Dual Power Options: Runs on the two included alkaline AA batteries or two Nitecore NH2400 rechargeable batteries (not included), which charge in place via the built-in USB-C port.
Lockout Function: Holding both buttons together locks the headlamp to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport.

Performance and Runtime Disclaimer
How to read the data: The outputs provided above are maximum outputs for each mode, and the runtimes provided are the time it takes to drop to 10% of the initial output. This is in line with the International Flashlight Testing Standard ANSI FL1.
Any visual representations (graphs) of the data are approximate only.

The actual output of the torch/headlamp is controlled by an in-built temperature regulation system. As the torch/headlamp heats up, the brightness will drop to prevent overheating. The Turbo modes of torches/headlamps usually drop down significantly after anything from 15 seconds to 2 minutes. High modes often also experience a drop down over time. Medium and Low modes, however, can be constant for very close to the length of time specified. As the torch/headlamp cools down, either from being turned off or from being used on a lower output level, you will be able to access higher brightness levels again.
Example: An output of 2000 lumens and runtime of 5 hours does not mean 2000 lumens for 5 hours — it means it starts at 2000 lumens and drops below 200 lumens after 5 hours of continuous use.
Turbo and high modes may be unavailable or limited as the battery gets low on charge.
Exact specifications can vary between torches, batteries, age and environments.
