The Nitecore HA29 UHE is an all-weather outdoor headlamp delivering 1200 lumens with a 170 metre beam distance. It is designed for extreme conditions, capable of operating down to -40ยฐC and up to 10000 metres altitude. This headlamp also features variable CRI and multiple colour temperatures. It is powered by six NiteLab Dual-core MCT UHE LEDs for its primary light, offering 3000K warm light (CRI 98), 4500K neutral white light (CRI 85), and 6500K cool white light (CRI 73), alongside an auxiliary red light source. The detachable modular power system supports the included Nitecore HLB2500 USB-C rechargeable Li-ion battery pack, or via the MBC10 battery case, a Nitecore HLB1500 USB-C rechargeable Li-ion battery pack or three AAA batteries.
Features
- All-Weather Performance: Operates reliably in temperatures down to -40ยฐC and at altitudes up to 10,000 metres, making it suitable for extreme environments.
- Variable CRI: Features multiple colour temperatures (6500K, 4500K, 3000K) for adaptable lighting in various outdoor conditions.
- Flexible power options: Choose from the included HLB2500 rechargeable battery pack, an HLB1500 battery pack (not included), or three AAA batteries (not included).
- Lightweight Design: Weighs only 112g (including battery pack, bracket, and headband), for comfortable and stable use.

Note:
1. The stated data is measured by using 1 x NITECORE HLB2500 Li-ion battery pack (2,500mAh), in accordance with the international flashlight testing standards ANSI/PLATO FL 1-2019, at an ambient temperature of 26ยฐC (79ยฐF) from the NITECORE Lab. The data may vary in real world use due to different battery usage or environmental conditions.
2. When the ambient temperature is โค -10ยฐC (14ยฐF), TURBO is unavailable; when the ambient temperature is between -40ยฐC (-40ยฐF) and -30ยฐC (-22ยฐF), HIGH is reduced to approximately 400 lumens.
Performance and Runtime Disclaimer
How to read the data: The outputs provided above are maximum outputs for each mode, and the runtimes provided are the time it takes to drop to 10% of the initial output. This is in line with the International Flashlight Testing Standard ANSI FL1.
Any visual representations (graphs) of the data are approximate only.

The actual output of the torch/headlamp is controlled by an in-built temperature regulation system. As the torch/headlamp heats up, the brightness will drop to prevent overheating. The Turbo modes of torches/headlamps usually drop down significantly after anything from 15 seconds to 2 minutes. High modes often also experience a drop down over time. Medium and Low modes, however, can be constant for very close to the length of time specified. As the torch/headlamp cools down, either from being turned off or from being used on a lower output level, you will be able to access higher brightness levels again.
Example: An output of 2000 lumens and runtime of 5 hours does not mean 2000 lumens for 5 hours โ it means it starts at 2000 lumens and drops below 200 lumens after 5 hours of continuous use.
Turbo and high modes may be unavailable or limited as the battery gets low on charge.
Exact specifications can vary between torches, batteries, age and environments.
