Weltool T17 Ironclad Virtue 600 lumen tactical torch
The Weltool W35B V2 is a compact tactical rail torch designed to deliver high luminous flux and intensity. It produces a maximum light output of 1520 lumens and a peak beam intensity of 120000 candela, projecting a beam up to 692 metres. Its robust design features a fully potted light head for superior shock and vibration resistance, and an IP67 ingress protection rating ensures dust and water resistance. Powering the torch is a Weltool UB18-12P 1200mAh high-drain 18350 lithium-ion battery, which is Micro-USB rechargeable via a port on the battery itself, providing a maximum runtime of 33 minutes. The torch incorporates a 5700K neutral white X-LED and is operated by a tail tactical momentary switch, offering silent momentary activation with a soft press and constant-on mode with a click. Additional features include reverse-polarity protection, low-battery warning, over-discharge protection, temperature regulation, and a tempered glass lens with double-sided anti-reflective coating, all within a 1-metre impact resistant body. Its modular design allows compatibility with various Weltool series accessories and mounting on Picatinny, MIL-STD-1913, STANAG 2324, STANAG 4694, and Weaver rails using the Weltool PM4 mount, or M-LOK and KeyMod rails with other dedicated mounts.
How to read the data: The outputs provided above are maximum outputs for each mode, and the runtimes provided are the time it takes to drop to 10% of the initial output. This is in line with the International Flashlight Testing Standard ANSI FL1.
Any visual representations (graphs) of the data are approximate only.
The actual output of the torch/headlamp is controlled by an in-built temperature regulation system. As the torch/headlamp heats up, the brightness will drop to prevent overheating. The Turbo modes of torches/headlamps usually drop down significantly after anything from 15 seconds to 2 minutes. High modes often also experience a drop down over time. Medium and Low modes, however, can be constant for very close to the length of time specified. As the torch/headlamp cools down, either from being turned off or from being used on a low output level, you will be able to access higher brightness levels again.
Turbo and high modes may be unavailable or limited as the battery gets low on charge.
Summary: An output of 2000 lumens and runtime of 5 hours (for example) does not mean 2000 lumens for 5 hours — it means it starts at 2000 lumens and drops below 200 lumens after 5 hours of continuous use.
Exact specifications can vary between torches, batteries, age and environments.
